Ingredients
3poundsbaby back ribs
1teaspoonblack pepper
1teaspoononion powder
1teaspoongarlic salt
1teaspoonsmoked paprika
18ouncesBBQ sauce - any variety you prefer
¾cuppineapple juicejuice from a 20-ounce can of pineapple chunks
⅓cupbrown sugar
3clovesgarlicminced
Instructions
Place the ribs in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Sprinkle them with the pepper, onion powder, garlic salt, and paprika.
Combine the BBQ sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, and garlic in a bowl, whisking until combined.
Pour ¾ of the sauce over the ribs. Reserve the remaining ¼ of the sauce for later.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
Optional - Before serving, remove the ribs from the slow cooker, brush them with the reserved sauce, and broil for a few minutes until sticky and glazy.
Notes
Tips and Tricks
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
You can add some red pepper flake for a little heat.
You can add the pineapple chunks to the slow cooker if you like.
Garnish with a little green onion and serve over rice for a fabulous dinner.
