Ingredients

  • 3 pounds potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 pound ham diced
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese -shredded
  • 10.5 ounces cheddar cheese soup 1 can
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the cooker insert by spraying lightly with cooking oil to help prevent sticking.
  • Add half of the sliced potatoes, half of the onion, half of the ham, and ⅓ of the cheese to the bottom of the cooker - in that order.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Repeat the layers.
  • Finish with a final layer of sliced potatoes.
  • Whisk the soup and heavy cream together in a small bowl and then pour it over the top of the layers.
  • Top with the remaining ham and cheese.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours.

Notes

Keep leftovers refrigerated for up to 3 days.
You can change it up with different kinds of ham or other meat, change the variety of cheese, add green onions or other veggies too.
