Ingredients

  • 6 onions sliced in half
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Prepare a baking sheet or an oven-safe pan.
  • Cut the onions in half. Remove the dry, outer layers.
  • Pour the olive oil, thyme, salt, and pepper into the pan, and stir to mix.
  • Place the onions cut side down into the oil and spices.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the onions are soft, tender, and roasted.
  • Allow to cool, then slice and serve.
  • Serve over hamburgers, steaks, salads, etc.
