yellow onion

white rice
long-grain

orzo

minced garlic

water

chicken broth
better than bouillon chicken

Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan, over medium heat and saute the onions until tender, about 5 minutes.
Add the rice and the orzo and stir constantly while it heats for about 2 minutes.
Stir in the garlic and mix constantly for another 30 seconds or until fragrant.
Add the water, bouillon, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Continue to cook over medium-low heat until the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked, about 20 minutes.
Serve with a garnish of parsley, if desired.
Notes
Storage: Pilaf can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
