Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts - boneless, skinless
  • 8 slices prosciutto
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon thyme dried
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary dried

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, minced garlic, dried thyme, and dried rosemary.
  • Wrap each seasoned chicken breast with 2 slices of prosciutto, ensuring the entire surface is covered.
  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Once hot, add the wrapped chicken breasts, seam side down, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the prosciutto is golden brown and crispy.
  • Transfer the seared chicken breasts to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Once done, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
