Ingredients

  • 20 ounces pineapple chunks 1 can
  • 20 ounces crushed pineapple 1 can
  • cup brown sugar
  • 15.25 ounces yellow cake mix
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 20 ounces pineapple slices drained (1 can)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Prep a 9x13 baking dish by greasing it with cooking oil or butter.
  • Pour the pineapple chunks and crushed pineapple with the juices in the bottom of the prepared dish.
  • Add the brown sugar on top of the pineapple.
  • Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the top of the brown sugar and pineapple.
  • Slice the butter as thin as you can and place all over the top of the cake mix.
  • Arrange the pineapple slices on top and then add a cherry in the middle of each one.
  • Bake for 60 minutes until golden and bubbly.
