Ingredients

  • 8 Oreo cookies
  • 4 marshmallows large
  • 4 ounces milk chocolate 4 squares from a bar

Outdoor Prep

  • If you're making these over a campfire, let the flames die down until you have hot coals.
  • Separate the cookies and place the halves with the cream filling facing up on a plate or baking sheet.
  • Place a square of chocolate on top of each cream-filled cookie half.
  • Next, place a marshmallow on top of the chocolate.
  • Skewer the marshmallows on roasting sticks and toast them over the fire until golden brown and gooey.
  • Once the marshmallows are toasted, carefully place the remaining cookie halves on top of each marshmallow to create a sandwich.

Indoor Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Separate the cookies and place the halves with the cream filling facing up on a plate or baking sheet.
  • Place a square of chocolate on top of each cream-filled cookie half.
  • Next, place a marshmallow on top of the chocolate.
  • Place the assembled cookies with marshmallows in the preheated oven and bake for about 3-5 minutes, until the marshmallows are puffed and lightly browned.
  • Once the marshmallows are toasted, carefully place the remaining cookie halves on top of each marshmallow to create a sandwich.
  • Serve immediately while the marshmallows are still warm and gooey.
