Ingredients
½cupbutterunsalted - browned
3eggslarge
1cupgranulated sugar
½cupbrown sugarpacked
½teaspoontable salt
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1cupall-purpose flour
2tablespoonsmatcha powder
1cupwhite chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Grease an 8x8 baking dish. Set aside.
Brown the butter in a saucepan by heating over low-medium heat until melted. It will begin to smell nutty and browned pieces will form at the bottom of the pan. Remove from the heat and allow to cool to room temperature so that you don’t scramble the eggs when you add them.
Combine the cooled browned butter, eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Whisk together until combined.
Then add in the vanilla extract and whisk again until incorporated.
Mix in the flour and matcha powder. Use a rubber spatula to fold the dry ingredients into the wet, mixing until completely combined and the batter should be green.
Fold the white chocolate chips into the batter.
Transfer into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly. Top with more white chocolate chips if desired.
Bake for 25-28 minutes or until the edges of the brownies just slightly begin to brown and the top is crinkly.
Remove and allow to cool completely before cutting and serving!
