3 pounds chicken wings 2-3 pounds - fresh 1 cup honey ½ cup low sodium soy sauce or light soy sauce 4 garlic cloves minced ⅓ cup brown sugar
Place all the chicken wings in the slow cooker.
In a small bowl combine the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and brown sugar. Whisk well.
Pour the sauce over the wings, reserving ¼ cup of the sauce for later.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until tender.
Optional- Place the wings on a foil-lined baking sheet. Brush them with the reserved sauce and broil until sicky and glazy.
Tips and tricks
Store the leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
You can add more brown sugar if you like the wings a bit sweeter.
You can add some red pepper flakes if you want to spice things up.
