Ingredients

  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup butter - unsalted
  • 16 oz chocolate frosting 1 can
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Line a 9” square dish with parchment or foil. Leave a little overhang to help with the removal of the fudge later on. Set aside.
  • Combine the chocolate chips and butter in a medium saucepan. Heat over low, stirring frequently until they have melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Remove from the heat, stir in the frosting, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
  • Fold in the nuts, or any other desired mix-ins you might want to add.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared dish, spreading it into a smooth, even layer.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  • Once set, use the overhanging liner to lift it out of the dish, cut and serve.
  • Keep refrigerated in an airtight container.
