Instructions
Rinse the red beans under running water in a colander for 30 seconds and allow to drain.
Add the rinsed red beans, sausage, celery, onion, and garlic to the slow cooker. Toss to combine.
Add in the creole seasoning, thyme, salt, pepper, bay leaves and bouillon.
Pour over the water and then stir to combine.
Cover with the lid and heat on high for 6-8 hours. Stir occasionally.
Serve over rice with a garnish of parsley, if desired.
Notes
Storage: Red beans and rice can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
