Ingredients
1poundground beef
½poundground pork
⅔cupbreadcrumbs
1egg
5tablespoonsmilk
1teaspoononion powder
1teaspoongarlic salt
½teaspoonblack pepper
½teaspoonsalt
Sauce
3tablespoonsbutter
3tablespoonsall-purpose flour
1cupvegetable stock
1cupbeef stock
1cupheavy cream
Instructions
Combine the beef, pork, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion powder, garlic salt, pepper, and salt in a medium bowl. Work it together with your hands until completely mixed.
Once the mixture is all combined roll the meat into small balls, about 1 inch in size.
Working in batches, heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the meatballs.
You want to cook the meatballs for about 8 minutes turning frequently until brown on all sides and cooked through.
Remove the meatballs from the pan and set aside.
Carefully wipe the pan out with a paper towel and return it to the stove.
Melt the butter over medium heat and then whisk in the flour.
Cook the flour mixture for 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in the vegetable stock, then the beef stock.
Whisk until the mixture returns to a bubble.
Whisk in the heavy cream, and cook until it starts to bubble and thicken.
Serve over mashed potatoes.

Tips and Tricks● Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
● Ikea serves these with lingonberry jam but if you cannot find it, I like to use whole berry cranberry sauce.
