Ingredients
2½cupsall-purpose flourheat treated*
1cupbuttermelted
1cupbrown sugar
¾cupgranulated sugar
¼cupmilk
1½cupsmini chocolate chips
3cupsvanilla ice creamsoftened
Instructions
Combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and milk in a large bowl using an electric mixer until combined.
Stir in the flour and mini chocolate chips.
Line a 9x9 square baking dish with parchment paper.
Spoon half of the cookie dough mixture into the pan and spread out evenly.
Carefully lift the parchment paper out (with the dough on it) and set it aside.
Place more parchment in the baking dish again and spread the rest of the dough into the pan.
Gently spread the softened ice cream onto the dough in the dish and spread evenly.
Then carefully invert the parchment with the dough on it from earlier on top of the ice cream.
Place it in the freezer for 8 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
Tips and Tricks*You can heat treat your flour by placing it in a small bowl and microwaving it in 15-second increments, stirring between each, until the center of flour registers 160 degrees. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 30 days.
You can use any flavor of ice cream you like.
You can any vanilla or almond extract to the cookie dough.
