Ingredients

  • 1 cup cilantro leaves fresh - packed
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice - fresh
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Rinse the cilantro leaves and pat them dry with paper towels. Mince the garlic cloves finely.
  • Combine the cilantro leaves, minced garlic, red wine vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, lime juice, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes in a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  • Taste and season with salt and pepper according to your preference. Blend again briefly to incorporate the seasoning evenly.
  • Transfer the sauce to a serving bowl or jar. Serve immediately, or refrigerate it in an airtight container for up to one week.
  • Drizzle over grilled steak, chicken, fish, roasted vegetables, or even use it as a marinade to infuse dishes with its vibrant taste.
