Ingredients

  • 3 chicken breasts cubed - large boneless, skinless
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 5 jalapeno peppers seeded and diced (5-6 peppers)
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese - sharp - shredded
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Grease a 9x13 baking dish with cooking oil.
  • Add the chicken to the prepared dish in an even layer.
  • Season the chicken with the smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add the diced jalapenos evenly over the top of the chicken.
  • Whisk the cream cheese, heavy cream, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Spread the cheese mixture over the top of the jalapenos and chicken.
  • Top with the shredded cheese.
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until the chicken is done.
  • Add crumbled bacon to the top for serving.
