Ingredients

  • 2 cups chicken cooked - shredded or diced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 12 oz pasta penne or rotini
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese - shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese - grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prep a 9x13 baking dish with cooking oil. Set aside.
  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • If using fresh broccoli, blanch it by boiling it for 2-3 minutes, then draining. If you are using frozen - thaw it first.
  • Stir the cooked pasta, chicken, broccoli, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Top with the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the casserole is heated through.
  • Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
