- 1 lb chicken thighs boneless and skinless
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger minced
Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
For a thicker sauce -
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
If a thicker sauce is desired, mix the cornstarch with water to make a slurry. Slowly whisk the slurry into the simmering sauce, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes
