Vanilla Coconut Black Tea is the perfect refreshing beverage to pair with your lunch or dinner. One of my favorite ice tea recipes that’s so easy to make. Oh how I love homebrewed iced tea.
Vanilla Coconut Black Tea
This time of year I like to eat a little lighter. I tend to grab things that I can take with me easily because I like to head out to the backyard with the dog & eat on our picnic table next to my favorite tree. It’s just a few minutes a day but it’s good for the soul & gives a little mental clarity before getting back into the office. Sometimes you just need a change of scenery to get your head back in the game, refresh your mind & really dig in to finish out what you have on the calendar.
Other times I really need something delicious to add to that scenery, like this Vanilla Coconut Black Tea alongside a great salad for lunch. You all know just how much I love coconut. So of course, I will find a way to add it to my beverages too, including tea. This time of year I can’t get enough tea. It’s my beverage of choice all through the warmer months. But I like to change it up & add fun flavors in there & you know that just has to include coconut.
When I do my weekly store runs I pick up some of these elevĀte organic salads at Walmart. Everything I need is in there, so I could pack one when heading out to do my errands. When I’m at home I pair it with my tea. My son likes to take them to work because they make a great meal while he’s poolside.
I love that they are organic, full of flavor & come in so many flavor varieties like ancient grains, plant-based proteins, nutrient-dense greens, nuts, legumes, and seeds. All are rich in omega 3 and 6 fatty acids and packed with naturally occurring vitamins and antioxidants. The best part- which is really important to me, all of the salads are Non-GMO Project Verified, Organic or Gluten Free and they never use antibiotics in their chicken.
I have talked a lot about this before because I feel it’s so important to know what is & isn’t in the food we eat. Which is why I LOVE these salads.
After I spend a little time outside, I’m full from my delicious lunch & tea, I feel refreshed & inspired to power through my day. It makes it so easy if I make my tea the same day I pick up my salad. Then I have them both ready to go & there’s no excuse to skip a great lunch.
Don’t miss these on Rollback at Walmart until 5/17. These are definitely my super foods! What are yours?
You can find them in the refrigerated produce section. Mine were next to the guacamole.
