Three Wise Men Shots
Ingredients
- 3 ounces Jim Beam bourbon American brand of bourbon whiskey
- 3 ounces Johnny Walker red label scotch whiskey blended scotch whiskey
- 3 ounces Jack Daniels whiskey Tennessee whiskey
orange slices, orange peels, lemon slices, or maraschino cherries (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker or measuring cup.
- Gently shake or stir to combine.
- Pour into shot glasses and top with a lemon wedge, orange peel/wedge, or maraschino cherry if desired.
Notes
- If desired, you can measure each ingredient into the shot glasses directly. I like them to be better mixed than this, so I combine it in a separate container first.
- If shaking, don’t shake hard. Be gentle.
- Garnishes aren’t necessary, but I really like the taste of the cherry or citrus addition on or in the glass. Just adds another aspect to the flavor profile and breaks up the strength of the whiskey just a bit. Not a lot, but enough.
- These shots are strong, so beware. They hit hard and fast.
- You can shake it with ice if preferred, but this is solely a preference and up to you on whether it’s chilled or not.
