I have to say – it’s actually a little bit on the hot side here in CDA. I never really thought I would say that after living near Death Valley for so long. Don’t get me wrong – nothing compares to that kind of heat. 125 is just plain miserable. But we have actually flirted with 100 here- which seems strange here in North Idaho. So I am super happy that we splurged on A.C. for the house so I don’t have to suffer for these couple weeks a year that it gets uncomfortable. But that doesn’t mean that I have forgotten how to cool off in the summer. All those years of desert life has given me oodles of refreshing recipes to share with you all for years & years. 🙂 Like this Sour Berry Fizz for example – the perfect beverage to help you cool down on those super hot summer days.
This was a drink we would whip up before heading out to cool down by the pool. So refreshing.
Berries & sour together – YUM! Then adding the ginger ale gives the perfect fizz!
This is such a great party beverage! Your guests will LOVE IT!

I found this lovely recipe on the Weekend Potluck link party and thought I’d stop by. I am currently doing a call out for no-bake recipes on my recipe link party, The Yuck Stops Here and would love it if you would bring this recipe, your S’more’s Bars and any of your other no-bake favorites to the party! This one would be especially good to add a non-alcoholic element to my drinks! The party starts tonight (Tuesday) at 8pm ET and can be found on my blog, Hot Momma’s Kitchen Chaos. I hope to see you there! HUGS
