Do you love easy appetizer recipes? This time of year is perfect for all sorts of awesome appetizer ideas. To be honest, our family is really big on snacks & could practically live on appetizers alone.
Our favorite thing to do is have 1-2 days a week where we just make a bunch of snacks & let everyone graze instead of making a big meal.
To make things easy we pull out all the slow cookers & put them to use. They are a great way to make a whole lot of snacks with very little prep time.
Because we are big fans of honey & garlic, our favorite snack to make this time of year are these Slow Cooker Blueberry Honey Garlic Meatballs. So incredibly delicious!
Slow Cooker Meatball Recipes
We really love honey in this house & use it in so many recipes. When we lived in the desert we learned how enjoying local honey can really help with allergies. When we moved to North Idaho, one of the first things we did was seek out some regional honey to always have on hand.
We add it to everything. Did you know that 1/3 of our food & 90 US crops rely on pollination? Unfortunately, the bees are being threatened by pests, pathogens, pesticides & poor nutrition from habitat loss. It’s quite alarming because of how dependent we are on bees for our food.

I’m always looking for the very best honey for my family. I found Bee Harmony Honey, which is 100% raw honey handcrafted for the love of bees.
It’s made the way nature intended, with bees drawing nectar from wildflower blossoms across superior forage lands, tended by trusted beekeepers, using responsible practices that respect the environment. That’s why Bee Harmony is the Beesponsible® honey!
Plus its really great mixed into this meatball recipe. I mean- look at those! I chose the blueberry for these – which paired so well with my homemade blueberry jam.
Because I’m all about the regional honey & how beneficial it is, it was easy for me to fall in love with Bee Harmony Honey. It is available in several regional varieties.
For example, if you live in Florida you’ll love the Local Raw Florida variety. Or if you live in the Great Lakes region, you may want to try the Regional Raw Great Lakes honey. Find more details on the various regions and types of honey can be found on the Beesponsible® website.
These meatballs are the perfect appetizer recipe for the honey garlic lover. I guarantee they will be the first thing to clear at your next holiday party. I know they don’t last too long around here either.
