- Shake for plenty of time to make sure all of the ingredients are incorporated.
- Using fresh juice will help to build more flavor.
- Choose high-quality liquor — don’t skimp with low quality to expect the fruit flavors to overcome it.
- If preparing a large batch ahead, don’t add ice to the pitcher or punch bowl — it will dilute it.
Ingredients
- Pineapple juice
- White rum
- Dark rum
- Orange juice
- Lime juice
- Grenadine
- Ice

- If you don’t have a shaker, just give the mixture a really good stir.
- Garnish with sliced fruit on the glass or a skewer including a pineapple wedge, a maraschino cherry, pineapple slice, and orange slices dunked into the cocktail. For more booziness, soak the fruit in rum for a few hours before skewering.
