Kicky BBQ Ale Meatballs are the perfect quick & easy dish for BBQs, pool parties, al fresco meals or game day tailgating. Ready in just 20 minutes & delish!
I love love love snack foods. Who’s with me on that? I talk about it a lot here, so it should come as no surprise that I think I could basically live off appetizer-style foods.
When it comes time to make meals, I would be absolutely tickled if we could just put out a party spread so I could nibble my way through the evening, rather than make a huge dinner.
It’s just more my speed because then I can have a little bit of this & a little bit of that, without committing to one dish in particular. I guess that’s why we have so many party food recipes. One of my favorites are these Kicky BBQ Ale Meatballs.
Easy Meatball Recipe
You see, we make a ton of snack style food because we live & breath game day around here. I know it’s not quite the season for that, but the recipes are the same when it comes to backyard BBQs & entertaining guests. Delicious foods made quickly & easily is the name of the game.
My mother-in-law was the best hostess when it came to things like that & it’s those fond memories of good times with great food that inspire us to create the same atmosphere. The one thing that is consistent- easy & delicious recipes.
So, do you know what makes it so quick & easy? We start with Cooked Perfect® Meatballs! I usually stock up at the store because I like to be prepared for last minute parties.
Having them in the freezer & ready to go is so handy. Without these, it would really drag out the preparation time for recipes like this. But they are perfect for those busy summer moments.
Crafted with select meat, real cheeses & savory herbs & then flame broiled to sear in the flavor. I use these as the base of all my meatball recipes.
BBQ Meatballs
You can find these in Homestyle, Italian Style, Turkey & 8 other varieties. Talk about having a whole lot of choices! It really helps me jazz it up when it comes to my recipe creations.
I love making Swedish Meatballs, Meatball Sandwiches & of course adding them to our spaghetti just to name a few of our favorites. But the possibilities are endless.
I have so many different meatball recipes that we make all the time that I can’t wait to share with you all. They all start with Cooked Perfect. I love that this recipe takes only 20-minutes & is as simple as dumping all the ingredients together in the pot & letting them simmer.
So easy & when they are done we sometimes add them to hoagie rolls, enjoy them over rice or even just grab toothpicks & circle around the pot & dig in. They are a family favorite. Don’t worry about the ale, it’s just for flavor. Because it simmers for so long, its safe for the whole family to enjoy. That’s yummy goodness right there!

Game Day Meatballs
Don’t they look amazing? I love to sprinkle fresh parsley from the garden on top just to make them look pretty. But that’s completely optional. Often times the family dives in before I get a chance to garnish.
