Ice Box Apple Pie Jars using a recipe for apple pie & apple pie filling that’s like an ice box cake in a jar. A super easy dessert recipe for apple lovers.
A couple weeks ago my dear friend Danelle shared a post for No-Bake Apple Pie Icebox Cake. I was drooling – totally. So I printed it off & left it on the counter so I could make it.
Well- the days just got too hectic & I didn’t have quite the time to whip up her version. But I did try a little something similar to curb the craving for the time being.
Ice Box Apple Pie Jars
Simple & tasty. The kids LOVED these.
I love making these after we have cleaned up breakfast. I pop them in the fridge & let them sit all day. By the time we are ready for dinner- they are ready too. It’s so simple & easy & perfect for all my apple pie lovers in this house.
Plus it gives me a great recipe to use up all that homemade apple pie filling I have in the freezer. We don’t have to wait for fall to enjoy, I can give the family the taste of apple pie any time of year in just a few minutes.
You really can’t beat that. Oh my goodness, these are so good. You really must make them for your family too.
