Easy Strawberry Jalapeño Donuts are simple & easy to make with just a few ingredients. These homemade jelly donuts are the perfect way to kick up your breakfast.
It’s no secret that we love donuts in this house. I have an entire category here dedicated to my homemade donut recipes. Sometimes I can free up a Friday afternoon & make some mini-baked donuts to have with coffee over the weekend. Other times, when the timing works out, I like to make them fresh before everyone wakes up. Honestly, why not? This recipe is so simple & only takes a few minutes to prepare.
Easy Strawberry Jalapeño Donuts
When Smuckers was so kind to send me a large variety of their new Fruit & Honey spreads to try, my head was swirling with ideas on all the delicious recipes I could make with them. But when I saw their new Strawberry Jalapeño flavor, I knew I had to use it to make some donuts.
It’s no secret that my whole family likes foods with a little spice. My son is absolutely obsessed with peppers, jalapeños & the like. We love to grow our own so we can add them to nearly every dish. But when they are already added to something sweet like this, it’s heaven.
You can imagine how excited I was to see that these spreads are made with honey, not refined sugar. It’s no secret how much I love products that are naturally sweetened with ingredients like honey.
These are available in a variety of flavors, so I could have made these donuts & filled them with Concord Grape, Blueberry Lemon, Strawberry or Triple Berry too. But, I have to say, these Strawberry Jalapeño donuts are absolutely INCREDIBLE. Every bit as good as they look- if not better. By far the best filled donut I have ever made or enjoyed. I can’t wait to try these spreads with cheese & crackers come game time or with a little yogurt parfait during the week.
