Easy Salisbury Steak Dinner with riced vegetable pilaf & mashed cauliflower makes for a delicious & nutritious dinner recipe in 30 minutes or less. YUM!
What is meal time like for you? Is it crazy & chaotic? I totally hear you on that! Between work, school & all the activities, we are lucky just to have 20-30 minutes to all sit together at the table during meal time. Unfortunately, most times my son is rushing through dinner so he can get off to work, which is never fun. Which is why I’m on a mission to create as many dinner recipes as I can that take 30 minutes or less.
With all the things demanding our attention these days, dinner time sure can dominate the evening if you let it. I would rather have that time together as a family doing other things – like enjoying the meal together, not slaving over the stove making it. So meals that come together in about a half hour, like this Easy Salisbury Steak Dinner are always a favorite in this house.

When you think of a salisbury steak, it sounds difficult, doesn’t it? Well I’m here to tell you that just isn’t the case. This is as easy as making the beef patties by tossing all the ingredients into a large bowl, mixing together & cooking in a pan. Then the sauce just whisks together & is poured over the top. So simple & it is absolutely delicious! The family loves this dish so much that it has become a staple in our dinner rotation.
But we can’t have just a beef patty with sauce, right? When coming up with simple & easy side dishes to go along with this we pick up Alexia Premium Vegetable Sides that we pick up at our local Kroger brand store. I’m always looking for easy ways to whip up the side dishes for dinner. Anything quick will become a favorite for me, because, let’s face it- saving time is important. But quick that doesn’t mean you can’t have good-for-you veggies.
Easy Family Recipes
Normally we would add the steak to the top of mashed potatoes. But a great way to get that same look & texture without all the added starch is to add it on top of this mashed cauliflower instead. Alexia mashed cauliflower is great, just heat & serve. You can’t beat that!
We also paired this with a riced vegetable pilaf from Alexia. It was a great side to our meal. With the perfect combination of riced cauliflower & sweet butternut squash that really compliments the beef so well. I love finding new & creative ways to add veggies into our meals. Fortunately, Alexia really helps us do that with little prep time.
Easy Salisbury Steak Dinner
This really was the most savory & delicious meal. Everyone swooned over each & every bite! While we all loved the taste, I’m just as impressed with the Non-GMO Project verification & the fact that these sides from Alexia are Gluten-Free. WIN! These things are important to me when putting together a well-rounded meal for the whole family.

I’m not a nutritionist so I can’t accurately do that. I’m sure there is some sort of service available out there that could provide that for those that care to know.

Thank you so much for the link. I’ll definitely be trying a variety of the Pappy’s Seasonings. I’m always happy to find new spices to experiment with.
Cathy Richards says
how many servings does this provide?
Gina Kleinworth says
HI Cathy – that is going to depend on how many patties you create with 2 lbs of ground beef. that can vary with how large or small you make them. I have 3 hungry teens with adult appetites so we made ours larger. I think we ended up with 6 or 7 patties. Please keep in mind shrinkage of your patties depending on the fat content in your beef when planning.
Enjoy.
