Easy No-Cook Fudge is a quick holiday recipe made with just 5 simple ingredients (+ any mix-ins) whipped together and chilled before serving.
I’m so excited for the holiday season! We are getting the house decorated and I am whipping up so many treats.
This is such a fun time of year – but a busy one too. This is why I am always looking for ways to streamline our favorite things so we can still enjoy them, even when the schedule gets too full. That’s where this super easy no-cook fudge recipe comes in!
I’m excited to partner with Reynolds Wrap® for this post.
I like to use Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty foil in this recipe because it won’t tear and makes clean-up an absolute breeze. It has a new blue box with the same great quality and strength. It’s easy to find when I shop, I can just add it to my weekly online Walmart order – saving me time and money!
For as long as I can remember my mom and I would make fudge during the holidays. She would have so many requests from friends and family because they KNEW she made LITERALLY THE BEST FUDGE EVER! So needless to say, she created a whole lot of fudge recipes and we made them all each season.
Almost every year I try to share at least one of her recipes here with you all. I have spent years looking for this particular one – combing through all of the boxes I inherited. This summer when we moved, I finally found it and I am so excited to share it with you all here.

So first we start with Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil because if we are looking to keep things simple and quick – this is the way to do it.
We use Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil for just about everything we make because it makes cleaning up so fast and easy.
The fudge comes together with 5 room-temperature ingredients that you probably already have on hand. Then you blend it all together and press it into a pan. You can chill it for a little as 20-30 minutes, but we chill it overnight before cutting and serving.
This is literally the easiest fudge recipe and it is absolutely no-fail. It is also my favorite fudge recipe because it is so simple and the foil makes clean up a breeze.

Here are some commonly asked questions
Why choose Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil?
I can’t say enough about why we love using Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil in our everyday recipe preparation, but here are just a few reasons-
- Easy preparation – just line your tray or pan and most of the time you don’t need to grease it – foil is all you need.
- Clean up is FAST – just pull up the edges and all the mess is contained – your pan is clean!
- Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil is in a new blue box. Same great heavy duty strength – but so much easier to find in the store now that each variety is color-coded. And it can be found at Walmart and added to my weekly online order – saving me time and money!
- I prefer heavy duty foil because it is durable and strong so it can withstand the rigors of cooking with my husband and the kids.
- Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil now has a better box that is easier to open and a tab that keeps the box fully closed for storing after use.
- Also available in a wider 18-inch roll, great for larger foil packets and fits my 3/4 sheet pans perfectly!
- Heavy Duty Foil not only protects food over direct heat, but it may also help prevent freezer burn when wrapping foods for freezer storage (like leftover hamburger patties or steaks!) It is absolutely KEY when I’m wrapping cakes to freeze too.
- Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil promises Easy Prep, Easy Cook, Easy Clean gets you more time with family and they really mean it! We use Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil every single day.
What is the best way to store leftover fudge?
Just keep it refrigerated for up to 7 days. I like to make sure it is covered or wrapped tightly with Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil to keep it from drying out. You want to keep it creamy and limiting the exposure to dry winter air is the best way to do that.
no cook fudge with powdered sugar
What is the difference between Dutch-process cocoa powder and regular cocoa powder?
So Dutch-processed cocoa powder is also referred to as alkalized cocoa. This powder starts with cocoa beans that have been washed in an alkaline solution of potassium carbonate, also used in the production of soap and glass.
By doing this, it neutralizes the acidity of the beans, making the beans neutral. This is important because when they are neutral, they do not react with baking soda. Instead, it is often paired with baking powder.
So – long story short – using regular cocoa powder vs Dutch-process cocoa powder will yield a completely different rise and texture to any recipe you are making. While we aren’t baking the cocoa powder in this recipe, the acidity difference between the two will change the texture of the fudge.
So I highly recommend paying close attention to the type of cocoa powder called for in each recipe and sticking to it for that reason.
Can you freeze homemade fudge?
Yes, you can freeze homemade fudge. However, before you do so, make sure to wrap tightly with Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil to protect it from freezer burn.

Can this be made without a mixer?
Yes – if your ingredients are soft enough the fudge can be mixed without a mixer. I have found that this is actually easier if you work it together with your hands like dough instead of drying to muscle it with a spoon or rubber spatula.
However- if you have at least a hand-held mixer, I recommend using that if you can. The end result will be creamier.
Fudge Customization Ideas
There are so many ways to get creative with this fudge. Here are some of the ways my mom and I would change it up for different friends and family that we would make it for.
- Sea salt: Sprinkled on top
- Swap out the vanilla extract with peppermint extract
- Try using Irish creme or rum instead of vanilla
- Stir in some marshmallows.
- Fold in crushed cookies.
- Try a variety of nuts.
- Add your favorite candies.
- Stir in 1/4 cup of coconut before spreading it out in the pan.
- Holiday sprinkles.
