If you asked me to name my favorite Girl Scout cookie it would be a challenge to choose just one — but I do adore Thin Mint cookies. These Dirty Girl Scout Shots channel that delicious flavor in drink form.
This recipe combines Irish cream liqueur with vodka and a minty liqueur for a creamy, minty drink. While the recipe is for shots, it can also be a tasty sipping drink over ice.

Storage
Since you won’t want to make these ahead of time, you don’t need to worry about storage beforehand. However, if you happen to have leftover shots, you can store them.
Refrigerator: Place leftover shots in a sealed mason jar or other airtight container. Shake vigorously before serving.
Freezing: We don’t recommend freezing this drink.

There are plenty of ways to dress up this shot to make it your own.

- Coffee – Pour in some iced coffee or an espresso vodka or coffee liqueur for a caffeinated and coffee-flavored version. Use decaf coffee to eliminate the caffeine, if you prefer.
- Mint – Garnish with fresh mint leaves or even muddle it and add it to the shaker (be sure to use a strainer to serve). You can also add more mintiness by using peppermint schnapps.

Dirty Girl Scout Shots
Ingredients
- 4 ounces Irish cream Bailey’s
- 4 ounces vodka
- 4 ounces creme de menthe
mint chocolate cookies or fresh mint (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a shaker and give it a good shake for a few seconds.
- Immediately pour into a shot glass.
- Top with a cookie or fresh mint, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
- Drink these fast as they can settle a little bit if left sitting for too long. They’re the best if taken right after mixing, but they’re still amazing even if they’ve settled.
- The flavor tastes like a strong eggnog at first, and then the perfect chocolate mint flavor quickly follows. It’s a fun and rich shot.
- The fresh mint would be more for looks than anything, so it’s up to you if you include it. The chocolate mint cookie is a fun snack addition to match the shot.
- You can use Kahlua in place of Bailey’s if desired, but due to the difference in colors, the Kahlua will result in a brown-colored shot rather than a greener shot.
- You can add ice to the shaker before combining, but I prefer just chilling the ingredients before use instead of using ice. It keeps the shot from being watered down and keeps the shot from frothing up a bit.
