The best part is that shortbread cookies are made with just 3 ingredients. It’s amazing just how simple a cookie can be but still so delicous. We have a hard time putting the container down, that is for sure.
Here are some commonly asked questions
Can I use another kind of frosting for these cookies?
Absolutely! If you are short on time, you can use the pre-packaged frosting you find in the baking aisle. Or you can even just use a little bit of Nutella. No matter what you frost them with, they will be scrumptious.
Do you have other topping suggestions instead of crushed candy canes?
Oh yes, we love adding different ingredients. We like using chopped pistachios or almonds. You could try chopped candy bars, caramel bits or just some of your favorite holiday sprinkles if you like.
