Thank you TruMoo and DairyPure brand milk for sponsoring this post! Start and end your day right with milk and chocolate milk!
Chocolate milk, peanut butter & bananas come together to make this Chocolate Banana Smoothie that is the perfect breakfast or snack recipe! Make one before heading out the door or as an after school treat. Either way, everyone loves this chocolate goodness!
Chocolate Banana Smoothie
My kids are hungry, like all the time. Three teens are just like that I suppose. I love giving them great options to fill them up & that I can also stand behind & feel good about. I also love meal ideas that can shift & be versatile. You know, breakfast ideas that can also double as a great after school snack. It makes things easier for me & fun for them when I mix it up. One thing I love making for them is this Chocolate Banana Smoothie. It’s loaded with all sorts of good stuff that fills them up when enjoying for breakfast or tides them over between when we wrap up school & when I’m serving dinner.
Some days I make the smoothie with Dairy Pure milk instead of the TruMoo Chocolate Milk. But on most days we start the day with a bowl of cereal, fresh berries & a little glass of Dairy Pure.
It’s super fun for them because they get to use my favorite sugar skull breakfast glasses.
It’s definitely a great way to get the day rolling & have them all be ready for all we have ahead.
Then once they have packed away the school books for the day we pull out the TruMoo & make a shake. I find that this is a fabulous way for my son to get a boost before heading off to work. He usually works until late in the evening & therefore misses our regular family dinner. So this really helps to keep him from getting too hungry before he can come home & eat again.
Who wouldn’t just love diving into this? All those favorite flavors in one great shake!
The girls certainly look forward to this one after hitting the books all day.
