Chicken Parmesan Grilled Cheese Sandwich is loaded with breaded chicken, marinara, mozzarella & spinach & grilled to perfection. It’s the BEST grilled cheese you’ll ever eat!
I love a good grilled cheese sandwich. They pair so nicely with a bowl of soup or some other favorite side dish.
But I often like to shake things up & add ingredients to give it more punch. When I’m really craving something savory, I pull out the indoor grill press & make this Chicken Parmesan Grilled Cheese Sandwich that is over-the-top delicious.
I worked with Sara Lee® Bread to bring you this family-favorite sandwich recipe.
Because we all know the base of any amazing sandwich is the bread, I started with this Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bread.
You just can’t have a great sandwich without first making sure you have quality bread. I knew that with no high fructose corn syrup & no artificial flavors or colors, this Artesano Bread was the perfect, thick-sliced artisan-style bread to make this sandwich epic.
It’s also available in a Golden Wheat version, which has a touch of honey, olive oil & sea salt.
Grilled Cheese Chicken Sandwich
I like to use mayo on the outside of the bread instead of butter or margarine. It gives the sandwich a rich & tangy flavor & grills up nicely.
The breaded chicken with a little marinara & spinach with all that cheese is absolutely scrumptious. The kids love this recipe & are always writing the ingredients on the grocery list so we are sure to make it often.
You can’t go wrong with this grilled cheese. It is perfect for celebrating National Grilled Cheese Month this whole month of April, don’t you agree?

It’s pretty obvious that you’ve sold out to all the advertisers and commercial interests. You may well have a decent recipe but I refuse to follow a two mile train of ads to get to it.
