Do you love oatmeal cookies? We sure do in this house! But the debate on whether to add raisins or chocolate chips happens every time I start whipping up a batch of these awesome cookies.
So this time I decided to appease everyone in the house by omitting both & replacing them with delicious Raisinets. Raisinets are one of my favorite candies & never last too long in this house.
So adding them to these super yummy Chewy Raisinets Oatmeal Cookies just totally made my day.

Now, one thing I really love about this cookie recipe is that it requires no chill time. Chill time can be absolutely essential to certain cookie recipes, such as my Fall M&M Cookies.
It’s so important for the dough to sit & let the flavors come together while the the consistency firms up enough to reduce spread when baking.
But these little gems can be mixed & baked right away. That is really great for those days when I don’t plan ahead & yet really, really want to sink my teeth into a cookie.

YUM! I love oatmeal cookies…probably because they pretty much always retain some level of chewiness.
