Caramel Apple Overnight Oats, a simple fall breakfast idea that will keep you full throughout the day. Combine, shake & refrigerate to enjoy by morning!
For several years now I have made it my mission to make homemade breakfast items for the family. I bake muffins, whip up smoothies & make a lot of homemade granola cereal & oatmeal recipes. One of the easiest out of them all is overnight oats. We typically prepare them after the dinner clean up & they are so easy that the kids can do it on their own. I think it makes them all enjoy their breakfast a little more when they can put their own spin on what they are eating. This time of year I like to add great fall flavors like apple, cinnamon, pumpkin & caramel. Those are the favorites flavors they look forward to all year. So when I created this recipe they all raved & asked me to keep the recipe handy so they can make it again & again.
Caramel Apple Overnight Oats
I started with this Caramel Apple Dream flavored tea from Celestial Seasonings Tea. It was the perfect inspiration for this breakfast recipe.
I can’t tell you just how easy this is to make. Takes only a few minutes to get each jar ready. We layer in all the ingredients, tightly fasten the lid on the jar & give it a good shake before refrigerating overnight. When ready to serve, just top with some nuts & additional salted caramel mocha syrup. Of course, my daughter thought that all oatmeal should taste like that. I guess that means she loved it. That’s “The Magic of Tea”.
