Can I substitute the whipped cream for whipped topping?

It is not recommended to substitute whipped cream for whipped topping as the former is made with oil and the latter is made with cream.  This will be a noticeable difference when added to a drink.

What glass should I use with this drink?

This is the one drink recipe where it is perfectly acceptable to serve in a glass mug! 

No need to break out the fancy glassware here.  This may be the best option for serving due to the heat of the drink.
