Here are some commonly asked questions
Can I use coconut aminos instead of soy sauce?
If you’d prefer to use coconut aminos, you can use them as an alternative ingredient to soy sauce. The coconut aminos have a similar taste to traditional soy sauce, so there isn’t anything wrong with using it.
Can the leftovers be stored?
Because this is being used to soak raw meat, please do not keep the leftovers. Once you have removed the meat and cooked it – please discard the bag and sauce.

Do I need to use the dijon mustard in this recipe?
The dijon mustard plays an important role in this recipe. It has a unique taste that truly compliments the other ingredients you’ll use to prepare this sauce. If you don’t like it, you can leave it out, but it’s one ingredient worth combining with the soy sauce, sugar, and minced garlic.
How should I cook the pork after marinating it?
After allowing the pork to marinate for a minimum of an hour, you can cook it in the way that you prefer it. Some people like to put it right on the grill. If you don’t have a grill or don’t want to use it, you can fry the pork in a skillet on the stovetop, bake it, or even broil it until it’s fully cooked in the center.

Ingredients for Pork Marinade
If you’re planning on making the best Pork Marinade you’ve ever tasted, you’ll need to use these important ingredients:
- Soy Sauce. Use this sauce to add a slightly tangy taste to your recipe that will enhance the overall flavor of your pork.
- Worcestershire Sauce. Add this sauce to create a bolder taste when preparing your Pork Chop Marinade.
- Dijon Mustard. You’ll need just a tablespoon of dijon mustard for that slightly smoky, slightly sweet taste it offers.
- Brown Sugar. Make your marinade sweeter with a bit of brown sugar.
The only other ingredients you’ll need for this marinade are minced garlic and pepper. Once you’ve gathered these ingredients, you can begin combining them in preparation for putting your pork in the marinade to soak up all the flavor.
Can I freeze the marinating meat in the bag?
I know a lot of people like to do this – but I actually don’t recommend freezing the mixture with the meat. Over marinating the meat can actually have the opposite effect, resulting in a dryer and tougher piece of meat and eliminating all your work to make it juicy.
How long will the pork need to sit in the marinade?
You can let the pork sit in the marinade for as little as one hour. However, if you’d like it to soak up all the juices that you’re using, be sure to let it sit for at least four hours.
Make sure to put the pork in the resealable bag with the marinade and then place that bag in the refrigerator. You can also allow the pork to marinate overnight if you’re willing to wait the extra time.
What should I serve with marinated pork?
While preparing the pork, you can work on putting together some tasty sides to go with it. Your marinated pork will taste great with a side of scalloped potatoes, glazed carrots, roasted broccoli, and even macaroni and cheese. The meat also tastes great with potatoes and applesauce. You can serve any sides that you’d normally enjoy with your entree when preparing pork using this marinade.
