Now back in the spring I visited a place called Chedda-Burger in Salt Lake City. They had a donut burger on the menu & I just had to give it a try. I had been watching all sorts of shows about carnival-style food & donuts paired with savory foods were all the rage. I have to say, after having the burger on a sweet donut, I can see why. People sure love that awesome blend. So after watching yet another show all about donuts, I decided it was about time I started making some recipes with those tasty treats. That my friends is how this breakfast sandwich was born.
Bacon, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Donuts
Bacon, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Donuts
Ingredients
- 2 glazed donuts - sliced in half
- 4 eggs - scrambled
- 6 sliced of bacon - cooked
- 2 sausage patties
- 2 slices of cheese
Instructions
- Slice your donuts & lay out the sausage patty on the bottom
- Add scramped eggs & top with a slice of cheese
- Load it up with bacon - the more the better
- Top with teh other half of the donut & ENJOY!
