One thing I actually get asked a lot is, What different kinds of DIY Projects can I make with the Cricut Explore Air™ 2 machine? Funny enough, a lot of times it’s from my hubs who is curious to know what other really cool things I can use it for. He knows I can do fun t-shirts & vinyl decals but there is so much more out there in the world of Cricut. I’m always amazed by the creativity of so many that are really putting their machines to work & creating some super awesome projects. I decided to share with you some of my favorites I have found & give you a little tutorial for this super quick & easy project I made with the Cricut Faux Leather.

Now to make the hair clip – it’s simple.
Choose your image from the Design Center & insert it.
Then copy & paste it multiple times so it will cut multiple flowers in this case.
Position & it’s ready to cut. Follow the prompts on the screen. Place your Cricut Faux Leather on your cutting mat & feed into your machine. No need for a deep blade – this faux leather cuts like a dream.
Set the type of material in the design center & make sure your dial is set to custom. Then press go!
It’s so simple. Once it’s done cutting just hot glue your flowers onto your hair clip of choice. I decided to add some tiny buttons for the center of the flowers for added visual interest & detail. But really – it’s all a personal choice & you can really customize it to your liking. Pretty simple, isn’t it?!

Don’t have Cricut, however, I would like instructions on how to make the hair clip with scissors.
