Combine water, buttermilk, sugar, and melted butter in a mixer bowl. Stir. You want it about 95 degrees. Add the yeast on top and lightly press it in with a fork. Do not mix. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 and roll out dough into a rectangle. Brush on melted butter and sprinkle on filling mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Roll and cut into 6 logs.
