Summer I Spy Printable is the perfect boredom buster for the kids when it’s too hot to play outside. This free printable is also great for crazy, lazy summer days.
A little bit ago I created this super fun Summer I Spy Printable to share over at my friend Erin’s place – Printable Crush. I remember when the kids were little & it was so hot outside through the summer when we lived in the desert. I had to find ways to keep the kids engaged & one can only do so many crafts in a day. Long before I was blogging, I was creating fun printables for my kids to keep them entertained. Activities like this Summer I Spy Printable were always a hit.

Our kids always LOVED I Spy games. They were always so good at hunting for the images. I remember when I was little I was fascinated with Where’s Waldo books. I guess I liked the challenge of finding what seemed like the impossible. My kids have picked that up too because their favorite activities are the quiet ones. Which is why we create a lot of I Spy & similar games of our own.
I especially love games like this when we’re camping or traveling. We take a lot of road trips & it’s a great little activity when they are waiting for the food or when we are getting the campfire going before enjoying s’mores. It keeps their minds active & they forget all about being bored.
