I would like to introduce this most amazing Fry bread, BBQ, Meatball Sandwich! This creation was born from our love of Indian tacos and a good ole’ fashion meatball subs, but wait, let’s add some bbq pazazz! I am the typical guy who has an enormous fondness for sandwiches but sometimes get bored with the same old thing. I have often discovered amazing and easy creations utilizing combinations of great foods from different cultures. This mouth-watering majestic creation of a sandwich just came together so magically with combining just a few tastes from some of my most favorite ethnic foods! Give it a try, then sit back and watch the sure pleasure of deliciousness light up your love ones faces!

It really is a masterpiece. The ease of bbq meatballs loaded on a delicious piece of fry bread & topped with everything that makes a great pulled pork sandwich – cabbage, blue cheese & fried onions. It’s absolutely one of our favorite dinners.

BBQ Meatball Fry Bread Tacos
Ingredients
Meatballs
- 1 Pound Frozen Mini Meatballs
- 1 12 Oz Bottle of Beer
- 2 Cups BBQ Sauce
- 2 tbsp Garlic Minced
- 2 Tsp Chili Powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
- Pepper to Taste
Toppings- Assemble
- Fry bread - homemade or pre-packaged
- cabbage
- blue cheese
- crispy fried onions
Instructions
- Place all meatball ingredients in a large saucepan.
- Cook over medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes
- Once the sauce begins boiling reduce heat to a simmer.
- Let cook on low for 20 min or until sauce has reduced & meatballs are cooked through.
- Add to your fry bread
- Top with cabbage, blue cheese & fried onions
- ENJOY!

Okay, don’t hate me for saying this…but I have never even heard of fry bread before this! Though these ‘tacos’ look pretty darn amazing. Now I’m off to do some research on fry bread so I can try the recipe out for myself!
