Easy Cinnamon Sugar Twists with Chocolate Hazelnut dipping sauce can make a great treat or a decadent breakfast alongside your morning coffee. Delicious!
Do you love quick & easy treats? How about ones that could double as a breakfast? Yeah, me too. Which is why I keep a notepad next to my bed to write down ideas like this as they come to me. Because I woke up in the middle of the night with the idea of using puff pastry & cinnamon/sugar mix to make some delicious cinnamon twists. I had made some homemade caramel one day but was feeling bad that my son wouldn’t be able to enjoy any because of his braces. I wanted to make him something he would love.
Easy Cinnamon Sugar Twists
Since he’s obsessed with cinnamon, I was focused on a treat that was loaded with it. I wrote down the idea, went back to sleep & pulled out the puff pastry from the freezer when I went down for my morning coffee a few hours later. It was then I had the idea to use my Chocolate Hazelnut creamer from International Delight to make the dipping sauce. YUM-O! I’ve got to say, these really were incredibly delicious. I was wishing I had made more than the one batch. But my son was super excited about them & is already wanting me to make some more. The Chocolate Hazelnut sauce was the perfect compliment to these cinnamon treats.
