Fruit Kabobs
I absolutely love it when I can create a dessert that is simple, delicious & dare I say it…healthy! Or at least mostly healthy anyway. Taking just a few ingredients that we already love to enjoy on their own & preparing them in a different way can give a refreshing twist to how my family views a recipe. Something as simple as a few varieties of fruit that we love to include with breakfast or lunch & putting them together with a tiny bit of chocolate syrup is a great way to change the perspective on what dessert should look like.
These fruit kabobs came together in just a few minutes, which is a huge plus in my book. Anything I can just grab, assemble & enjoy in less than 5-10 minutes is something I tend to repeat time & time again. It’s even better when I can task one of the kids to put these together when we are working on dinner preparations. This way they are just waiting to be enjoyed as soon as we are ready for them.
Fruit Kabobs : An Easy Snack
Ingredients
- 2 cups washed & hulled strawberries
- 2 cups pineapple chunks
- 2 cups rinsed green grapes
- 1-2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- Skewers
Instructions
- Assemble all your ingredients in front of you so you can easily grab what you need
- Start adding your fruit, alternating in variety until you get to the end of your skewer. I like to also alternate sizes.
- Assemble completed skewers on party platter
- Drizzle with chocolate syrup
- Enjoy!
