**Pair these with our Texas BBQ Sauce!
I love game day! It’s definitely my favorite time of the week. We break out all our favorite recipes, put out a big spread & really enjoy snacking & the game. It’s so much fun & definitely quality family time. One thing I really like is adding easy recipes to our day.
Things I can prep & let go until it’s time to enjoy are great because I already have so many other things going on to prepare for kickoff.
Slow Cooker Ribs Recipe
We love good bbq & ribs top that list of bbq recipes. But things like ribs don’t usually make our game day spread because it’s so cold this time of year & our BBQ is in storage for the season. So when I was given this fabulous recipe for Crockpot Pepsi® Ribs created by Pepsi® I was all over it.
Easy ribs in the slow cooker using Pepsi®, well that’s just fabulous! We love Pepsi®, it’s what I grew up on, it’s the soft drink we have always had in the house & now I can use it for cooking too. YAY!
We stopped in to Albertsons to pick up our game day ingredients. Check out this AWESOME Pepsi® display. Whoooo! That was cool! We grabbed our Pepsi®, baby back ribs & some bbq sauce & some Snickers to add to our party spread. You can be the Game Day Party MVP by shopping Albertsons (or Albertsons banner stores ACME, Jewel-Osco, Shaws, Star Markets, Carrs, Safeway, Randalls, Vons, Pavillions or Tom Thumb) for all your entertaining needs for Big Game 2016.
Easy Ribs Recipe
Be sure to look for Sweepstakes from Pepsi® where 1 grand prize winner of $50,00 and (1) of (50) nflshop.com gift cards every week! That sounds pretty cool! Also look for the Bakery Deco Pac for a chance to win a $500 shopping spree. I know I could use that.
These ribs were so easy to make! Just cut the ribs into 2-3 rib portions & place in the slow cooker. Add in salt & pepper along with the Pepsi®. Then cover & cook.
Then once the ribs have reached proper temperature, remove & drain the liquid from the slow cooker. Put your ribs back in, add in bbq sauce & thyme- stir. Cover & cook another 30-60 minutes to glaze the sauce. Then they are done! I’m telling you – super easy & SO GOOD!
Just look at these ribs! Oh my goodness they were delicious!!! Definitely a great addition to our game day snack table. I think for the big game I will have several racks going so I have enough to feed all our friends!
I also made these Snickers cupcakes using a standard Pepsi® & cake mix recipe. They were a great addition to our dessert options for the day.
Don’t miss our Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff too!
Definitely a must make in my book!
