With the kids nearly out of school it’s time to start thinking of some great ways to celebrate summer. Putting together an ice cream float bar makes for an really fun summer party idea. You can sure wow your crowd with this Ultimate Ice Cream Float. It’s a super easy summer treat that will be the dessert of the summer.
To put together your ice cream float bar, here are some ingredients you will need. We grabbed Dr Pepper® Cherry along with some other great added goodies like M&M’s® Plain, M&M’s® Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches, SNICKERS® Ice Cream Bars & Life Savers® Hard Candy Variety. We also added sprinkles, chocolate syrup, vanilla ice cream & cherries.
You can pick up these items at Walmart – like I did.
To make your ultimate float – start by taking the SNICKERS® Ice Cream Bars & cutting them into pieces. Then place a couple of the pieces at the bottom of your glass. Then add a scoop of ice cream followed by a couple more pieces of ice cream bar. Then the final scoops of ice cream & top with the last pieces of the ice cream bar. Next pour in your Dr Pepper® Cherry to fill. Then add sprinkles, chocolate syrup, M&M’s® & cherry. YUM!!

I can’t believe that my kids finish preschool this week! Yikes!
We were just trying to explain the concept of an ice-cream float to my oldest son the other day. He was very intrigued. This version goes way beyond the basic root beer float, though. He would LOVE this! 🙂
