Today I’m going to share with you my “go-to” breakfast recipe that always makes me feel great. This Simple Green Smoothie is just the thing I love to have when I feel I have been overdoing it with all the yummies I share here with you all. I’m a firm believer in an “everything in moderation” approach when it comes to food. So I don’t deprive myself of treats nor do I go heavy on any one thing – be it healthy or not so healthy. So I like to enjoy a healthy little smoothie that keeps me full all day long. Then I don’t feel so bad when I have a nibble of something I created earlier in the day. I have to taste test what I share with you all here – so this green smoothie helps keep me full of the good stuff so I’m not tempted to over-do it.
I love it’s ease when it comes to making it.
With just 3 simple ingredients – I have everything I need on hand most of the time.
Simple Green Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 medium banana
- 8 ounces milk
- 1 scoop 2 tbsp Garden of Life Perfect Food RAW Organic Powder
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in blender & blend on high 30-60 seconds
- Enjoy immediately
- You could also add 1 cup of ice if you want this thicker- like a milkshake.
