Easy Christmas Porch Decorations

Decorating the front porch for Christmas is a must for me usually this time of year. While I am down here caring for my mom I knew that she would want some Christmas cheer. She loves decorating for Christmas & since she can't do it herself – I will be working on getting this place all spruced up for her. One thing I like to do each year is take the shipping boxes that all the gifts arrive in & wrap them to look like gifts & use them to decorate the front porch. I like them because they are large & make the porch look so festive in such a short amount of time. In years past I have used wrapping paper to do this. Not only does it use a LOT of paper but it's not weather resistant – which would be a major concern if I were back in Idaho right now. So I was able to try a new twist on the idea & I like them better than ever.

Just take your boxes – some plain white paper & some Duck Brand® EZ Start® Printed Packaging Tape

For the one box I wrapped it with white paper & then used the Duck Brand® EZ Start® Printed Packaging Tape as an accent.  For the smaller box I just wrapped the EZ Start Printed Packaging Tape around the entire thing.  Then just used some large ribbon to tie them together for an added festive touch.  See- I told you it was simple & it makes the porch SO CUTE!

I love how easy the Duck Brand® EZ Start® Printed Packaging Tape makes wrapping.  You can also use it to add some cheer to all those boxes you will be mailing out to friends & family this year.  What's really fun is that they also offer regular, everyday patterns too so you can use them for birthdays or other special occasions.
