My friends & I got together to not only share our own versions of the perfect freak shake today, but we are also putting a Disney spin on it all.
We each had to pick something related to Disney for the theme of our freak shake. I chose It’s a Small World after one of my favorite childhood rides.

I thought it would be fun to do the It’s a Small World theme & then load this shake with goodies from around the globe.
Fortunately, there are places like Amazon that sell treats I wouldn’t otherwise find here in North Idaho. So it was easy for me to order my goodies & then created this super AMAZING shake when they arrived.
I wanted to include so many more, but couldn’t get all of the goodies from other regions here in time to include them.
I have to say, I think I have fallen in love with a few new goodies I didn’t know I was missing before.
Just look at that! WOW! It’s every bit as good as it looks!
Here are some commonly asked questions
Can I use another flavor of ice cream?
Yes, absolutely, that will work just fine. The best part about this is you can tailor it to your favorite flavors too.
Can I use different candies or treats?
You bet. If there is a particular candy or treat you remember growing up from your region of the world, that would be a great addition. You can change this up to suit any taste.

Can this recipe be doubled?
This can definitely be doubled and it is a great way to use up all the remaining ingredients. This is a really fun activity to make during a slumber party, birthday party, or even for a ladies’ night in.
HOW DO YOU MAKE It’s a Small World Freak Shake?
- Chill the mug in the freezer for about 20-30 minutes prior to making this shake.
- Once chilled, remove from the freezer & drizzle the magic shell down the insides the mug. It should freeze to the sides.
- Spread rim with marshmallow creme.
- Press the Koala cookies into the marshmallow creme all the way around the mug. Store mug upside down while you work on the rest of the shake.
- Combine the ice cream & milk in the blender & blend on high until you reach the desired thickness. Pour the milkshake into the prepared mug.
- Stuff as many of the listed goodies from the ingredient list as you can inside the mug.
- Drizzle the Duvalin treat over the top.
- Add straws, chocolate sprinkles, whipped cream & chocolate syrup if desired.
Can this recipe be made ahead of time?
Unfortunately because we are making a shake and the consistency needs to be semi-frozen, it won’t keep in the fridge without melting or the freezer without hardening. So this must be served immediately after preparation & can’t be saved for later.
