Chocolate Chip Dessert Dip is a delicious & easy to make treat. Just 4 ingredients & a couple minutes is all you need for this easy dessert recipe. Tasty!
I love quick & easy dessert recipes. How about you? When I can make something that the whole family loves & asks for again & again, I know I have a winner.
Take this chocolate chip dessert dip for example. It only took me a few minutes to make, which is perfect for these hot summer days. Everyone grabbed a cookie, dipped it in & then they were quickly reaching for another.

Even the hubs wanted more & he’s not a guy who’s big on desserts. It’s always obvious that I have a HUGE HIT when he’s the one asking for something again & again.
He certainly wasn’t thrilled about sharing or with the fact that this was gone almost as quickly as I made it. Chocolate chip dip is one of those desserts that we will be making for many years to come.

The secret ingredient in there- International Delight French Vanilla Creamer. It’s so good! With a dip like this, it definitely makes it a party favorite. But you can definitely make this with milk too.
You can use cookies for dipping. We use ginger snaps this time. But mini chocolate chip cookies, vanilla wafers or even graham crackers would be great with this.
If you wanted to, dipping some apples or other fruit would be a good alternative to the cookies too.
The whole family LOVES it & when doubled, this recipe makes enough to not only feed my super hungry family of 5 with seconds included, but we also have enough for leftovers the next day too. I bring this to our bunco nights & there’s always enough.
Here are some commonly asked questions
Can I make this with a different mixin?
Yes, absolutely. You can mix in different chocolate chips, M&M’s, crushed cookies or another favorite candy of choice.
Do I have to use coffee creamer?
No, you don’t have to. You can use milk if you don’t have coffee creamer on hand. I would just add a small splash of vanilla extract so you still get that added vanilla flavor that you won’t get with just milk.
Can I use fat-free cream cheese?
Yes you can. That will work just fine.
How many can this serve?
This recipe makes 2 cups, so it will depend on how much each person is eating. I make this for our family of 5 & it is perfect for us all to share.

Can this recipe be doubled?
You can, and we do it often. If you are serving for a party, I would definitely make a double or triple batch.
HOW DO YOU MAKE Chocolate Chip Dip?
- Combine cream cheese, confectioners sugar & creamer in mixer bowl & whip on med-high speed for several minutes- until dip is creamy & smooth.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips.
- Store refrigerated in air tight container if not enjoying immediately.
What is the best way to store leftover Chocolate Chip Dessert Dip?
I like to transfer it to an airtight container and refrigerate. Then I pull it out about 10-15 minutes before I’m ready to serve again so it can soften a bit for dipping.
