A simple Stenciled Pen Pouch makes all the difference in back to school excitement. With just a plain pen pouch & some Sharpie markers you can make one too.
Stenciled Pen Pouch
Do you love creating fun projects with the kids to help get them excited about second semester? It’s the middle of the year for most kids & it can be easy to get bummed out about having 6 more months of school. Since I homeschool my 3, I decided to run them on a calendar year – which means we just kicked off our school year a couple weeks ago. To help get the kids (especially the girls) get excited about getting back to work I decided it would be fun to create some fun projects with them like this Stenciled Pen Pouch using my favorite thing in my office – Sharpie markers.
We stopped in at Staples & I picked up some MEGA packs of Sharpie markers. To say I walked out of there with a smile from ear to ear doesn’t quite express exactly the amount of glee. I’m telling you – I was flat out giddy to get home & enjoy my purchases.
It’s pretty simple to make – just start with Sharpie markers in regular tip & a pack in ultra fine tip, a pen pouch & a stencil shape of choice.
I started with tracing the stencil using the ultra fine black pen to outline.
Here it is with just the outline – I sort of like it like this but decided to stick with the original plan.
Then I filled those flowers in with the regular tip pen. It’s really just that simple – but so cute!!
I absolutely love this. It’s great for keeping the girls organized AND gives a personal flair too!
