If you love peanut butter then this No-Bake Peanut Butter Pie will be your new favorite dessert. Simple & easy no-bake goodness that everyone will love.
Our family is crazy for peanut butter. I really think it gets a bad gig – it’s tasty, packed full of protein & just a tablespoon will keep me from getting hungry for nearly the entire day.
The whole family loves it whenever I decide to go with peanut butter as my main ingredient for goodies like this peanut butter pie. It’s a simple & easy no-bake recipe that I can whip up in just a few minutes. I can make it before dinner prep & pop it in the refrigerator to chill while we make & enjoy dinner.
By the time we are done cleaning up it’s chilled & ready to go. However, you can whip it up & enjoy immediately if you like.
I like to take out my filling ingredients & set them on the counter to soften while I prep my crust. Then while I make my filling I pop the crust in the freezer to help it set faster so the graham cracker is firm when I’m ready to spread my filling.
It really is just so easy. You could even use ready-made graham cracker crust if that’s your preference.

For so many years, peanut butter was the main ingredient for dessert around here. So it is no surprise that this peanut butter pie is such a hit every time I make it.
Honestly, you just can’t go wrong with how simple & easy this one is to make. Especially if you use a pre-made pie crust. The hardest part is waiting for it to set before you can enjoy it.
Here are some commonly asked questions
Can I make this with regular graham crackers?
Yes, absolutely. We love to make it with either regular or these chocolate graham crackers. You can also use oreo crumbs if you like. All very tasty & perfect with this peanut butter treat.
Can I use low fat cream cheese instead?
Sure, using a low fat cream cheese for this recipe will work just fine.
What is the best way to store this peanut butter pie?
The easiest way to store any leftover pieces of pie is to cover the pie plate with plastic wrap or tin foil & keep refrigerated until you are ready to enjoy again.
Why does the ingredients need to be at room temperature?
This is really important because it allows all the ingredients to blend completely together. If you happen to use cream cheese that is right from the refrigerator, you will end up with pieces of cream cheese that aren’t blended in the peanut butter filling.
Can I use a pre-made crust?
Yes, that works great too. Any pre-made crust will work just fine for this homemade peanut butter pie.
HOW DO YOU MAKE No-Bake Peanut Butter Pie?
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter & granulated sugar in a small bowl & mix with a fork until combined & all crumbs are moist.
- Transfer to a pie plate & press into a thin, even layer across the bottom & up the sides.
- Place in the freezer while you work on your filling.
- To prepare the filling, combine the softened cream cheese, peanut butter, confectioners sugar & whip topping in mixer bowl & beat until well combined.
- Transfer to prepared crust & smooth out.
- Top with a dollop of whipped topping & peanut butter cups & Reese’s Pieces or just some salted peanuts if desired.
Can this recipe be halved?
If you wanted to use the pie filling for something else, you can cut that portion of the recipe in half. But if you were to do this, it will not be enough filling to fill the 9″ pie crust.
Can this recipe be doubled?
I love to double this recipe. This works really well when I need 2 pies for a big gathering. Just mix & separate into 2 pie tins.
